Adam served as our Deputy Director of Economic Development, and his exceptional performance in that role has made him the perfect choice for this new leadership position.
Expertise: Adam comes to this position with a wealth of experience in economic development, having successfully led the City of Thornton’s primary development, fostering business expansion, job creation, and community advancement. During his tenure at the City of Thornton, Adam has brought in global leaders and large corporations, including Intrex Aerospace, Sascho, Amazon, Adam’s Polishes, and Forge Nano. His extensive knowledge and proven track record make him the ideal candidate to drive our city’s economic growth.
Vision for Thornton: Adam’s vision aligns seamlessly with our city’s goals to create a vibrant and sustainable economic environment. His innovative strategies, coupled with his dedication to collaboration and engagement, promise to bring exciting opportunities to our business community and City of Thornton residents.
Background: Adam is a Certified Economic Developer (CEcD) and holds a degree from Colorado State University. He is on the Executive Committee for the Economic Development Council of Colorado (EDCC) and past chair of the EDCC Professional Development Committee. Adam is also involved in the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) and serves on the Adams County Regional Economic Partnership’s (AC-REP) board of directors. With an impressive background in economic planning and a passion for community development, Adam continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the economic landscape of our city.
