Established in 2003, this URA plan area is generally located along the eastern side of Interstate 25, running south from State Highway 7 down to 144th Avenue, and is bounded on the east by Washington Street. Originally established in support of the Larkridge Shopping Center, the URA plan area is now also home to the new Amazon fulfillment center.
The North Washington URA Plan Area continues to see progressive investments into infrastructure upgrades, including Washington Street widening (144th -152nd), Grant Street Construction Phase I (144th to 148th), and the Big Dry Creek sewer connection.
