You’ve been successful in starting your own small business. That’s a huge accomplishment, because 20% fail in the first year. But now what?
Take an hour with SCORE and Thornton Alliance Business Center to learn about putting your small business in growth mode. In future sessions there will be lots of time to talk about sales and marketing and finances. But, for this hour we’re going to talk about two key ingredients for success; the right strategies and the right people.
In this session we’ll look at the typical challenges to growth for small companies. Next, we’ll look at how research and strategy and regular reviews can result in successful plans for the future. Finally, to make things work as you grow, we’ll look at how to organize your most precious resource, people.
You will still need to market and sell your products or services. To do so successfully, join us as we talk about the importance of the right strategies and the right people.

- Recognize some of the typical challenges growing companies face
- Learn about organizing the efforts and attention for yourself and your employees
