Business Workshop – OSHA Basics for Small Business

This workshop is an introduction to Occupational Safety and Health Administration with an emphasis and focus on the construction industry, including the law that requires all employers to provide a safe and healthy workplace. Many new businesses may not know of their legal requirements, until there is a problem.

Upon completion of the training session, participants will become familiar with:

• their responsibilities under the Occupational Safety and Health Act
• the tools OSHA uses to ensure compliance with the Act
• where to find the local OSHA offices and FREE consultation services.
