Business Commissions

Alianza de Negocios (Alliance of Businesses) is a group of business representatives whose overall goal is to discuss and share both the challenges and successes of Thornton’s Hispanic business community. Alianza offers recommendations for a suite of business support programs and resources to help local businesses continue their success and encourage growth of their Thornton facilities.

The Businesses of Thornton Advisory Commission (BTAC) is a commission of the City Council made up of appointed representatives from Thornton’s business community. The general purpose of BTAC is to discuss and share both the challenges as well as the successes experienced by Thornton businesses.
